I rooted my a5 as spelled out in the tutorial and odin showed pass and (succeed 1 / failed 0) but my phone never restarted again. Permanently on the downloading mode. What do I do now?

You may havn't checked the reboot option in Odin. Try to resart it manually and if it's in boot loop try these steps; http://www.samsungsfour.com/tutorials/how-to-resolve-android-boot-loop.html

Hello Thomas

I have been searching for a way to unroot my Galaxy Grand Max Dual (G7200, on Kitkat 4.4.4) and I can't find anything. Will this method work? if it doesn't....are you planning in adding a tutorial for Grand Max?

Thank you for your excellent work,

Please tell me what are you trying to do here? Rooting or unrooting? Both you cannot do from here. Rooting steps I can post later. But if you want to unroot it try to download the stock firmware and use odin to flash it.

Hello admin, I just rooted my very first android device , the galaxy a5 , from your tutorial. I gained root access but when I launched the SuperSu free app for the first time I was asked to disable to Samsung KNOX service and I disabled it. I want to know how can I completely unroot my device , just in case.( I do not want to void my warranty).
There is an option to unroot in the SuperSu free app but will it completely unroot my device so that I can claim my warranty later ?

Secondly, as I first rebooted my phone after rooting my phone restarted thrice of its own. After that whenever I rebooted my device it showed me some menu " # Manual Mode # restart load awb etc." . but now it is not appearing. Was this common ?

Please do let me know , and please reply soon.
Your help'll be much appreciated.
Looking forward to your reply. :-)

Thank you for your comment and I am happy to know that everything went well. You can unroot your device simply by installing the stock ROM for your device which can be found in sammobile.com
