Hi Thomass

I really appreciate you taking the time here.

Let me clarify myself better.

I have done ALL the above steps.

I am now in the "developer" mode/options

In the "developer options" i scroll down to the "debugging" options.

I look for "USB debugging" option... its not there!?!

What I do see is:

"revoke USB debugging authrorizations " (white)
"Power menue bug reports" (grey)
"allow mock locations" (white)
"select debug app" (white)
"wait for debugger" (grey)
"verify apps over USB" (grey)
"wireless display certification" (white)

That is all thats under "DEBUGGING" There is NO "usb debugging" option at all.

If I can send you a photo it would be clearer.

Thanks

I have Samsung Galaxy Note 2 which has failed to mount system files. It ends with "Samsung Note 2 Logo". Is there any possibility of enabling USB debugging mode by either tapping the screen or otherwise? Since it cannot load completely, I can not go through the normal procedures of enabling USB debugging. Any body who can help will appreciate.

Regards,
Davido.

You're tapping "Android Version" instead of "Build Number"

Hi, I just activated the USB Debugging mode in Kitkat 4.4.4 of Samsung A3, but it's still not recognized as a USB mass storage. What's missing here? I really need to recover pics and vids inside the internal memory of Samsung A3.

Install the Samsung USB drivers. If it's still not working, install kies and transfer the files using it.

That's ok now just go back and check in the settings whether it's there.

No, unfortunately not. Even after rebooting the device.
