Hi guys I wonder if you can help me? I've a s7 G390F which needs a imei repair. Can I use real term 2.0 & Odin to fix this "issue" I'm over in the U.K. & the "secret" codes to enter the imei & repair issues for whatever reason don't work? I've heard that certain carriers disable/remove this function, is this true & what can I do to get the phone working?
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Rob.

What you heard is true. You need to unlock the bootloader to make these codes work. Further you can find s7 codes here; http://www.samsungsfour.com/tutorials/all-secret-codes-of-samsung-galaxy-s7-and-galaxy-s7-edge.html

The phone was given to me by my son. It is locked to T-Mobile. Two unlock services have told me the IMEI number is not on the data base. The phone was reset and rebooted recently. On startup I get "Unfortunately SuperU is not working" Everything else works as it should.
That error message "Unfortunately SuperU is not working" shows that your phone is rooted before. Maybe your son rooted it with the wrong file. In this case you need to reinstall the stock rom to solve this isue.

I am trying the General Test menu code on my S3 and it Doesn't work. Any code I try doesn't work.. It used to work when I first got the phone. Could the software update have something to do with it? I have 4.4.2... Thanks

It's working on 4.3. On 4.4.2 we didn't quite tested it. The firmware is also a deciding factor. :-|

My phone says not connected to network when trying to make a call. Please helpp

That can be of many reasons. Did you recently flashed your device or rooted it?. Your IMEI number may have changed. Update your device using Kies and your issue will be resolved.

My samsung galaxy s 3 mini does not want to make calls. it starts dialling then says call ended.

please help

How long you have been facing the issue? If it's for a short period of time then you can wait little bit longer as network issues can also cause this. If the issue is still there then try hard resetting it. Make a backup before resetting.

I am having the same issue as Kaycee, every time i enter a code, ANY code, nothing happens. Is there something turned off in my settings to disallow this feature?

 All of the above codes are personally tested by me. I can't quite figure out what’s really happening without the necessary information. Did you installed any custom ROM like cynagenmod etc.

Whenever I try the service mode *#0011# , it seems to work, but I get the following message: "Initialization fail, Please Restart Application"

I tried the factory reset code, hoping that that would maybe solve some of my problems, but absolutely nothing happens

Did you installed any custom ROM, or is it rooted?, custom recovery?...
May be you can try to hard reset it from the recovery mode.
To enter into recovery mode in the power down status press and hold "Home"+"Volume Up"+"Power" buttons until you see the phone Model Number on the screen, now release the power button while holding the other buttons. There select wipe data/factory reset option.

Hi, these codes are perfectly working and I tested it personally. Just use your menu button once you enter in the "Service Mode" for input or editing
My dear friend there is somethinngs not right the way you executed that code.
There are only two options to enter your galaxy s3 in service mode which are given there. There are no other options.

Please check the screenshot above for more info on how to enter the code on your phone. Please note that all the above codes are working only S3, some of the codes may work on other phones, but not all.
