HIiI am Using Samsung SM-A9000. I have tried with smart switch to update my OS from lollipop to Marshmallow. But system displayed that "Error Occurred while updating the software". My phone is still displaying the same error. i could not turn my phone on. After that i have followed your instructions. But only thing is i did not set my phone into debugger mode. i got below errors when i tried your instructions:1. System ext4 failed - odin 3.12.7 said this at very first time2. Complete(Write) Operation failed - at second time.I have no idea why i am getting this error. Please help me out on this.

The error you are getting is because you didn't enabled the "USB debugging".
Please try to factory data reset your phone from recovery mode and check whether it is booting up. If does try these steps again after enabling usb debugging.

Without developer mode you can't flash your device. I think your phone is in bootloop, first resolve it by following this link; http://www.samsungsfour.com/tutorials/how-to-resolve-android-boot-loop.html
After that follow this tutorial. :-)
